Blogger Lela London reports that costume designer Jany Temime of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One may have unintentionally ripped off Alexander McQueen’s fall 2008 collection. Spoiler photos from the movie popped up and has caused quite a stir in the press. There’s a few differences between McQueen’s and Temime’s but you can’t deny the resemblence.
The dress in question is meant for Clémence Poésy’s character Fleur Delacour who is to wed Bill Weasley.

one is peacocks and one is phoenixes… totally different. maybe the idea was to mirror a “muggle” thing in a magical way? those movies play with the idea of “how would something non-magic translate in a magical world”. so they did it with fashion.
